Nigerian Police Force NPF Recruitment 2023 / 2024: Medical Screening Exercise Commences

Did you apply for Nigerian Police Force NPF Recruitment 2021?, Schoolsenate.com is pleased to inform you that the Nigerian Police Force has released the List of Shortlisted candidates and will commence Medical Screening Exercise on 17th May 2022.

The Nigerian Police has announced the commencement of the Medical Screening Exercise for the 2021 NPF Recruitment Exercise for 10,000 Police Constables into the Nigerian Police Force.

In an update published by the Nigerian Police on the Nigerian Police Force NPF recruitment portal, the statement scheduled the commencement of the Medical Screening Exercise for successful candidates who applied for the Nigerian Police Recruitment 2021 to hold from 17th May to 31st May, 2022 at the 17 Police Zonal Command Headquarters nationwide.

The Statement reads “Following the successful conclusion of the Computer Based Test (CBT) for the candidates that applied for the 2021 Recruitment Exercise as Constables into the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), the Automated Medical Screening exercise will commence from 17th May 2022 at all Police Zonal Headquarters nationwide except Kaduna and Yobe that will be conducted in their respective state capital.”

To this end, Candidates from all the States are advised to check their application status and print out their medical screening slip to know if qualified for the next stage of the recruitment screening exercise and the date indicated against his or her name. Similarly, the centre for the medical screening for the  North West Zone will be at the Zone 10 Police Headquarters, Sokoto.

Required Documents 

All applicants are to appear at the screening venue in their clean white T-shirts and shorts with the following mandatory basic requirements:

  1. National Identity Number (NIN);
  2. Original and duplicate copies of credentials – O’ Level Result(s), Certificate of Origin and Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age – neatly arranged in two white flat files with recent passport photographs attached;
  3. Printout of application submission confirmation page
  4. Duly completed Guarantor’s form
    Any candidate who fails to present any of the above requirements will not be allowed for the screening.

The Nigerian Police Force Congratulates the successful candidates and reminds them that the recruitment exercise is absolutely free of charge and without any pecuniary obligation.

While assuring that the exercise will be carried out in accordance with the best tradition of transparency and accountability, the NPF called on applicants to be wary of online imposters and other criminal elements who might want to take advantage of the exercise to dupe innocent applicants.

NPF Recruitment 2021 Shortlisted Candidates: How to Check Your Name Online 

Applicants can check their selection status on the NPF recruitment portal using the following steps,

  1. Visit www.policerecruitment.gov.ng
  2. Click on “Check Medical Status”
  3. Enter your NIN Number and click “Check Now”

If you are selected your details will be displayed and you will see your Medical Status slip.
