Requirements for AFIT Postgraduate Admission
- Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) Programme in Aerospace Engineering requires a minimum of Third Class in Engineering, Material Sciences or Physics or HND with a minimum of lower credit in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/|Electronic Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Material Science Engineering.
- Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) Programme in Logistics and Supply Chain Management requires a minimum grade of B.Sc degree with Third Class Honours or HND with a minimum of lower credit in Purchasing & Supply and other related fields.
- Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) Programme in Electrical and Electronics Engineering requires a minimum of Third Class in first Degree or HND with a minimum of lower credit in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and other related fields.
- Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) Programme in Construction Technology requires a minimum of Third Class in first Degree or HND with a minimum of lower credit in relevant programme
- Masters Programme in Aerospace Engineering requires a minimum of Second Class Honours in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/|Electronics Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Material Science Engineering.
AFIT JAMB Cut Off Mark For All Courses 2023/2024
The Air Force Institute of Technology accepts students who meet up with the required cut off mark in their JAMB total Scores. The AFIT Cut-off-mark for undergraduate degree courses is 180 while cut off score for ND programs is 160.

How to Apply for AFIT Admission
Admission is open on the portal for application from Prospective students by following the Steps below.
Before you apply Prospective students of AFIT are required to the following requirements
- must have obtained JAMB form,
- choose AFIT as first or Second Choice, but preferably as first choice.
- Sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME),
- complete the online AFIT Application Forms https://portal.afit.edu.ng/ using the following steps
Steps to Apply for Admission at AFIT
Step 1: Visit portal.afit.edu.ng to access the Application Form online
Step 2: Create an Account using your JAMB Reg. No.
Step 3: login to the application portal using your JAMB Reg. No. in the format: Email: JAMB REGNO@afit.edu.ng ; Password: 12345678
For example, Candidate with JAMB Reg No: 10673474CE must login using 10673474CE@afit.edu.ng as his/her Username .
Step 4: reset your email and password to continue.
Step 5: Make your payment online to purchase the AFIT Application form using your Debit card details.
Step 6: fill all necessary fields on the application form in the portal. Submit the online admissions application, completing all required fields. The online application can be completed in several sessions. You can save and come back later to complete your application.
Note however that you must remember your EMAIL and generated PASSWORD because you will require them to resume your application.
For a successful application, candidates are expected to complete two basic registration processes as explained in steps 5 and 6 above.

AFIT offers fully funded or partially funded scholarships to outstanding students who study in the institute. AFIT scholarships are for both international students and local citizens every year.
