WEAC Releases 2021 GCE Exam Results

The West African Examination Council WEAC has released results of the West African Senior Schools Certificate Examination WASSCE for private candidates.

In a statement the head of the Nigerian National office of WAEC Mr. Patrick says it is not sure of when the WASSCE for school candidates usually held in May/June would hold this year due to the Corona Virus Pandemic.

The statement said the effect of the Covid 19 Pandemic are still very much felt in the education sector and has distorted the academic calendar.

According to the statement a convenient international time table for the conduct of the examination would be released very soon.

He said a total of 7,690 candidates entered for the examination representing 30.11 percent obtained 5 credits in a minimum of 5 subjects including English Language and Mathematics.
