Federal University of Technology Akure Recruitment for Non-teaching Staff Positions

Recruitment is ongoing at the Federal University of Technology Akure for non-teaching Staff job vacant positions in the University.

The Registrar and Secretary to Council of the University Mr. R. A. Arifalo made this known to the public in an internal advertisement which invited applications from suitably qualified candidates to apply for the under listed positions

The advertisement contained both Senior and Junior Staff School Job Vacancies at Federal University of Technology Akure.

A. SENIOR STAFF POSIT10NS

1. Architect CONTISS 08 – (NI,460,038.00 – N2, 164,928.00)

Qualification

Candidates must possess 5 level credits (WASSCE/SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB) including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two sittings plus M.Sc. in Architecture, Environmental Design with evidence of registration with Architects Registration Council of Nigeria [ARCON] or a pass in the Final II Examination of the Nigerian Institute of Architects or a pass in the Final II Examination of the Royal Institute of British Architects.

2. Accountant II CONTISS 07 – (NI,257,460.00 —NI, 856,358.00)

Qualification

Candidates must possess 5 0′ level credits (WASSCE/SSCE/ GCE/NECO/NABTEB) including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two sittings plus a good first degree not below second class lower division in Accountancy or other finance related disciplines plus knowledge of computerized Accountancy.

3. Medical Image scientist CONTISS 07 – (NI, 257,460.00 — NI, 856,358.00)

Qualification

Candidate possessing 5 level credits (WASSCE/SSCE/ GCE/NECO/NABTEB) including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two sittings plus a good first degree not below second class lower division in Medical Imaging Science registerable with the Radiographer Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).

4. Systems programmer Il CONTISS 07 –

Qualification

Candidates must possess 5 0′ level credits (WASSCE/SSCE/GCE! NECO/NABTEB) including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two sittings plus a good HND not below lower credit/a good first degree not below second class lower division in Computer Science/lnformatics

5. Environmental Health Officer II CONTISS 07-

Qualification

candidate must possess 5 ‘O’ level credits (WASSCE]SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB) including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two sittings plus a good HND not below lower credit/first Degree not below second class lower division in Environmental Health Science and registered with relevant Board.

6. Network Engineer II CONTISS 07

Qualification

Candidate must possess 5 ‘O’ level credits (WASSCE/SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB) including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two
Sittings plus A Good University first degree not below second class lower division in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Electrical/Electronics. Engineering/Physics Electronics or related discipline from a recognized University.

Possession of Professional qualification with proven skills in hardware and computer engineering practice Will be an advantage or a good HND not below lower credit in computer science/ Electrical/Electronics Engineering/Physics Electronic or related discipline.

B. JUNIOR STAFF POSITIONS

1. Motor Driver II CONTISS 03 – (N378,391.OO — NS51,053.OO)

Qualification

Candidates must possess Junior Secondary School Certificate With 5 credits including English Language plus Class ‘E’ Valid Driver’s Licence. Government Trade Test II in Mechanical Works will be an added advantage.

2. Confidential Cecretary CONTISS 04 – (N420,449.OO — N621,097.OO)

Qualification

Candidates must possess WASC, SC, GCE  by WAEC/NECO/NABTEB with at least 5 credits. The 5 credits must include a credit in English Language. plus RSA or Pitman at 35/80 wpm in Shorthand and Typewriting or Government Certificate and a certificate in computer Studies from a recognized institution.
