NYSC CDS Conducts Free Medical Screening for Over 400 Students and Teachers

The Medical and Health Communities Development Service Group of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC has conducted free screening for over 400 Students and Teachers at the General Murtala Muhammed College, Yola Adamawa State.

The screening was for Hepatitis B and C as well as HIV and AIDS including free consultation and administration of drugs to the beneficiaries.

According to a statement from the NYSC the Medical Outreach was inaugurated by the State Coordinator, NYSC Adamawa State, Mr. Ibrahim Tukur represented by the head of Community Development Service, CDS of the branch Mr. Sumla Elaisha.

The CDS expressed appreciation to the pharmaceutical companies that supported the group with the supply of drugs and commended the corps members for their selfless service to humanity which were the tenets of the NYSC scheme.
