The National Information Technology Development Agency in Nigeria – NITDA is organizing a Cyber Security training for young Nigerians tagged “NITDA-Cisco Cybersecurity Awareness” program.
The NITDA-Cisco Cybersecurity Awareness program is a collaborative effort between NITDA and a Cyber Security company specialized in providing solutions for Cyber Techs.
NITDA in collaboration with Cisco wish to invite applications from suitably qualified Nigerians who are interested to enroll into the Cyber Security Training Programme.
The training is aimed at marking Cyber Security Awareness Month, where participants will be trained on the art of offensive cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities as well as the importance of protecting our cyber world. The training will further raise awareness about digital security and empower participants on the best global practices for securing personal data from digital forms of crimes.
Training Areas
This years programme will focus on four domains of cybersecurity as follows:
- Ethical Hacking
- Endpoint Security
- Network Defense and
- Cyber Threat Management.
Training Objective
The overall aim and objective is to spot light on preventing our cyber space and preventing cybersecurity incidents.
